I lived my life
and took my final breath
then I had that human death.
My body died but my soul lives on
just waiting for the night to turn into dawn.

I see you in your human form
watching you cry and mourn.
I ask of you please don't shed any tears
where I am now, there's nothing to fear.

I see you all day, and in your dreams
my love for you always streams.
I'm sorry that we fought, and argued on that earthly plane
I didn't show it, but it caused me lots of pain.
I hated to see you hurt, and in agony
what we did to each other was truly a tragedy.

I'm deeply sorry for the harm I caused
that's when we both should have stepped back for a moment and paused.
I know it's hard for you to believe
you always did wear your heart on your sleeve.
I pray you forgive me like I forgive you
we left things unfinished and we never grew.

I must go now as I've said my piece
I hope you know our love will not cease.
I am so proud of you on what you've become
I hope you break out of you being glum.
I am with you all through the day, and all through the night
call on me if you need me, I will bring you to sight.

Know there is an all loving God who is full of light
who will help you get out of your plight.
In the last seconds we have left, I will say this final thing
live for today, cause you don't know what tomorrow will bring.
