The world is burning
our souls are on fire
the Earth is in a funeral pyre

How to make it stop
what can we do?

Thoughts and prayers are nice
but sometimes they just won’t do,
if we don’t do something soon we can bid our lives adieu.
We created this
with our own thoughts
no need to start taking shots
but we each have a part to play in undoing it.
It begins and ends with us.

We’ve raped our planet since the beginning of time
and lost our souls for far too long
soon it’ll be time for a new song.
We don’t care that we’ve killed ourselves
and made her cry tears of sorrow,
there’s no time to think about tomorrow.
The time to change is now, and what’s done is done
but there’s still hope so lets keep our eyes on the sun.

Our minds are stripped of rationality
our lungs are choking
the pain and misery we are selves are evoking
through the smoke,
and pungent smell
An unnatural smell
An unnatural life
lets not let are lives be destined for strife
It’s not what the creator intended.
Our one true creator.
No one to blame but ourselves
The buck stops here.

The Earth is scorched
our souls are ravaged
time to release all our excess baggage.
As above so below
as within so without
what happens in the spiritual realm
happens in the physical plane
we need to be careful or our lives will go down the drain.
What happens outside of us
is a manifestation of what is happening within us.
Pay attention.
