I Come home from work, tired and exhausted
gotta pick up the kids from soccer practice,
make dinner and pay bills.
Another day, another dollar don't know how to make ends meet.
Fightin' with family members all week
It is solace that I seek. 
Why has life always been such a long struggle?
Will someone let me know if there's a light at the end of the tunnel, cause I don't see it.

Goin' to school and workin' all day
is bringing me down
I need a new job cause this one's killing me
been applying everywhere but no one's callin'
The frustration is at its boiling point, I feel like I'm fallin'.
What more can I do?
Will someone let me know if there is a light at the end of the tunnel, cause I don't see it.

I get home from night school,
with an aching head, and throw myself down on the bed.
I turn on the T.V. and nothing but bad news.
Wars and talk of wars all around.
terror in the cities
political unrest
the rhetoric high 
the country in turmoil
I close my eyes and cry.
The worlds gone crazy, I just don't understand.
Don't know how much more I can take.
Will someone let me know if there's a light at the end of the tunnel, cause I don't see it.
